Programs

After School Programs

A program designed for children to attend after their regular school day ands is available for children ages 5 through 12. Each week, all students have the opportunity to participate in art, cooking, and dance classes, in addition to specially planned indoor and outdoor activities. A supervised homework room is also available.

After School Children can play on our soccer team both fall/spring and basket ball in the winter. 

During  Spring and Summer Breaks a wide array of field-trips and activities are planned.

Westhampton Day School provides transportation from Tuckahoe, Three Chopt, St. Christopher’s/St. Catherine’s, and Saint Benedict’s. ( space is limited)  Crestview and Mary Munford provide bus transportation to WDS.

Summer Programs

Our school year concludes at the end of May making way for the beginning of our Summer Program. Classes focus on summer skills ( reading/math),  fun summer activities, weekly field trips, and swimming lessons.

A summer program is  available for children ages five through twelve. Students may choose from various athletic activities in which to participate in the mornings.  Art, Cooking, Music, Drama, and Dance classes are offered. The children participate in numerous clubs. Time is set aside each day for the children to enhance their reading and math skills. Various field trips throughout the Commonwealth are scheduled each week, usually based on a weekly topic or theme. We provide a two week session of swimming lessons each summer in conjunction with a local swim club. We also host an annual summer Mini-Olympics to which we invite other child care centers to participate.
